Alcona County Warrant Records Alcona County Warrant Records

This page explains what we can help with and where to send a question about an official Alcona County warrant. Most requests belong with the court that issued the order or the Sheriff's Office, not with us. The routing below sends each need to the right place.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, contact the court that issued the order or the Sheriff's Office directly.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Route the question to the office that actually holds the record:

  • Whether a warrant exists: start with the court that handled the case, because Alcona County publishes no public warrant list
  • A bench warrant from a missed date: contact the court that set the case, since that court issued the order and controls the recall
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: talk to a licensed Michigan attorney and the issuing court about a recall, an appearance, or a bond
  • An arrest or custody question: contact the Alcona County Sheriff, which serves orders and handles booking and transport routing
  • A support or contempt matter: ask the Circuit Court or the Friend of Court which office controls the file

For warrants held at the county level, the court contacts are the 81st District Court at 989-724-9500, 106 Fifth Street, Harrisville, MI 48740, for traffic, ordinance, misdemeanor, and preliminary felony matters, and the 23rd Circuit Court and Alcona County Clerk at 989-724-9410 for felony and other circuit matters. Court counters are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and close over the noon hour.

The law-enforcement contact is the Alcona County Sheriff's Office at 214 W Main Street, Harrisville, MI 48740, phone 989-724-6271, with a non-emergency line at 989-724-0911 and 911 for emergencies. Family-support questions can start with the Friend of Court at 989-724-9480.

A request for an existing county or Sheriff administrative record goes through the Michigan FOIA process. The clerk's office can be reached at clerk@alcona-county.net or by fax at 989-724-9419. Court files follow court-record rules instead, so ask the issuing court about those.
