Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public a fair amount of court information, but the hard part is knowing which office holds the piece you want. A warrant does not live in one place. The judge signs the order, the clerk keeps the case record, and a law-enforcement agency serves it. A traffic case belongs to the district court, a felony may move from district court to circuit court, and a support matter runs through the Friend of Court. There is no public Alcona County warrant list to fall back on, so a reader who checks the wrong office finds nothing and may wrongly assume there is nothing to find. We gather the contacts, the case flow, the state rules, and the request steps for each office into one spot, so a search can begin in the right place.

What We Cannot Do
We are a reference site, not an office. That line matters, so here is what it means in practice:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for any person
- We cannot serve, recall, clear, or quash a warrant
- We cannot post bond or arrange a surrender
- We cannot give legal advice or interpret a case for you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or office hour on this site is current today
Only the court that issued an order or the agency that holds it can confirm the current status. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes that third-party providers operate. Those companies set their own prices and run their own services. If a tool leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue keeps the site free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what its results contain, and a partner result is never an official warrant check.
